Nexters gains revenue and reach by expanding Hero Wars to the web with Payment Solution by Xsolla


Since its launch in 2016, NextersHero Wars became a hit game on social media platforms. During 2018-2020, the game grew rapidly on iOS and Android and became one of the most popular mobile RPGs in the world, with more than 100 million cumulative installs.

While Hero Wars achieved amazing success on mobile, Nexters had been considering other platforms as potential opportunities to increase margins and connect with audiences.


In 2020, one of the options was to expand to the web, which became one of the focus points in addition to mobile for the Hero Wars team. The result was notable: Hero Wars multiplied their sales dramatically by connecting with new players.
