Xsolla is proud to congratulate Carla Bedrosian, Global Chief Legal Officer, on her inclusion in Women We Admire's Top 50 Women Chief Legal Officers of 2026. This annual list recognizes the chief legal officers who do more than manage risk. They sit where strategy meets accountability, advising executive teams and boards while helping shape the direction of the businesses they serve.

Building a Global Legal Operation

Carla joined Xsolla in early 2024 and quickly set about reimagining how a legal department operates at a company with the scale and complexity of a global video game commerce platform. With Xsolla operating across more than 200 geographies, the legal challenges are anything but routine, spanning international subsidiaries, cross-border compliance, product launches, M&A activity, and partnerships critical to the company's expansion. Under her leadership, Xsolla's legal department has scaled to manage multiple regions and jurisdictions, including the United States and Europe, as well as China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Germany, and Cyprus. Carla has focused on building systems and workflows that turn legal from a bottleneck into a business accelerator, a team that doesn't just support the business but is embedded in it, anticipating challenges and clearing the path for growth.

Legal as a Strategic Accelerator

The role of the chief legal officer has evolved considerably, especially at companies operating globally across digital commerce, payments, and gaming. Legal teams at this level are no longer simply advising on transactions. They are embedded in the business decisions that determine where a company can go and how quickly it can get there. At Xsolla, this means helping navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory environment, including shifts in platform commerce rules, the expansion of direct-to-consumer models into new markets, and increasing complexity around global payments and data privacy. Carla and her team have worked to ensure that Xsolla's legal foundation keeps pace with these changes and, in many cases, anticipates them. This approach has earned recognition well beyond Women We Admire. Carla was recently named a finalist for the Top 100 Corporate Counsel Award presented by OnConferences, was honored as LA Times Best In-House Counsel, was shortlisted by Law.com as an "Innovative Leader" at the 2025 Leadership, Influence & Inclusivity in Law Awards, and was also named to Women We Admire's Top 50 Women Leaders in Law for 2026. "Carla's nomination is a testament to her vision and leadership," said Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla. "She has reimagined how legal operates at Xsolla, embedding innovation into our global operations and building a function that doesn't just protect the business, it propels it forward. Her ability to align legal strategy with business transformation is exactly the kind of leadership that enables a company like ours to scale with integrity across hundreds of markets. This recognition is well deserved, and we're proud to see her work acknowledged on a global stage."

A Well-Earned Recognition

Inclusion in the Top 50 Women Chief Legal Officers of 2026 places Carla among an accomplished group of legal leaders from companies such as SLB, GEICO, Subway, Morningstar, and Gusto professionals who share a commitment to advancing the in-house legal function and positioning their organizations for long-term success. Carla is also a member of Chief, the private network designed for senior women executives, where she has contributed as a leader and advisor since 2021. Xsolla extends its sincerest congratulations to Carla on this well-deserved honor and gratitude for the dedication and vision she brings to her work every day.
