The grand opening ceremony was on April 18, 2024, at KL Eco City. XCA's mission is to boost the development of the gaming industry in Malaysia and create opportunities for young talents, professionals, education, gaming companies and partners with a comprehensive program that will equip them with the skills and knowledge to find success in the fast-growing industry.

What is XCA and what does it offer?

With a curated program that can span anywhere from 1 to 12 months, XCA will provide a variety of comprehensive courses that cover critical areas for honing game development skills. From building communication practices within the gaming industry and lessons in indie game design and development to computer graphic art, game strategy, and IP incubation, future students at the academy will have a wide range of disciplines to choose from. Whether participants aim to establish their own game or studio, assemble an effective team, or pursue a career in gaming, the academy will serve as an industry resource that will support and realize their ambitions. XCA was built with a commitment to student-centric education and offers 3 distinct learning tracks tailored to accommodate applicants with diverse levels of experience and preparedness.
