Xsolla is heading back into the private capital world. The global commerce company will be at SuperReturn US West 2026, held September 14–15 at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, an event that brings together limited partners, general partners, and institutional allocators who evaluate opportunities across private markets.

From Berlin to Los Angeles

This isn't Xsolla's first stop on the SuperReturn circuit. Back in June, the company made its case in Berlin: that video game commerce and private capital are far more connected than most investors assume. Now the conversation moves to Xsolla's home turf, closer to the studios and developers whose games generate the data behind that argument.

The Numbers Behind the Pitch

In 2025 alone, developers selling through Xsolla processed more than $1 billion in direct-to-consumer PC transactions across over 1,000 titles. Fifteen games topped $10 million in direct sales, more than 90 crossed $1 million, and over 300 passed $100,000, at an average transaction of just over $15. This scale suggests direct commerce isn't a side channel anymore; it's becoming core infrastructure.

Why This Matters to Investors

Xsolla operates as a merchant of record across 200+ countries and territories, supporting more than 1,000 local payment methods. That infrastructure has real financial consequences: on a $20 sale, a developer might keep roughly $13 through an app store, versus close to $19 selling direct. And in some regions, 10% to 40% of players simply can't complete a purchase when platform payment options are the only ones available.
For investors, that's not a footnote; it's a diligence question. Revenue mix, margin profile, and platform dependency all shift when a studio builds out direct channels, and those shifts matter for anyone backing, evaluating, or exiting a games company.

Xsolla's Take
