Our team was proud to be a part of this year’s 2024 Games for Change Festival (G4C) held in New York City on June 27 and 28. The event brought together leading innovators and change makers in the games industry to explore the power of games for social good.

This year's theme, "The 2030 Marker: A Catalyst for Global Change," emphasized the gaming industry's potential to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Xsolla's participation at G4C extended beyond attending the insightful talks and workshops. Our very own Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, Berkley Egenes, took center stage with a dedicated speaking session.

The Xsolla Curine Academy and Accelerator programs are designed to address these challenges head-on. The recent launch of Xsolla Curine Academy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is a groundbreaking initiative designed to democratize game development education by offering comprehensive training and resources to aspiring game developers. The academy provides aspiring game developers with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the industry. Designed to be comprehensive and accessible, it offers participants a well-rounded educational experience in areas like programming, game design, and art creation. By offering affordable, accessible, and high-quality instruction and access to research and tools, our goal is to break down barriers, open doors for a new generation of diverse and talented game developers, and create a more inclusive gaming industry. Our global vision Xsolla's dedication to equal access goes beyond the Xsolla Curine Academy. We are actively building a network of Xsolla Global Academies around the world that aim to break through geographical barriers and provide high-quality game development education to a wider audience.
